How to Reconnect Your Google Account

OAuth tokens occasionally expire or get revoked — especially after a Google password change, 2FA update, or if access was manually revoked. Here's how to reconnect.

Steps to reconnect

  1. Go to Analytix → Settings → Authentication.
  2. Click Disconnect to clear the existing token.
  3. Click Connect with Google and complete the OAuth consent screen.
  4. After authorisation, you'll be redirected back to Analytix with a "Connected" confirmation.
  5. Verify your property and stream are still selected — go to Analytics Property and Data Stream tabs to confirm.

If reconnection fails

  • Make sure your Google Cloud project credentials (Client ID / Client Secret) are still valid — they haven't been deleted or rotated in Google Cloud Console.
  • Confirm the OAuth redirect URI in Google Cloud Console matches the URL shown in Analytix Settings exactly.
  • Check that the required APIs (Analytics Data API, Analytics Admin API) are still enabled in your Google Cloud project.
