Selecting Your GA4 Property & Data Stream
After connecting your Google account, Analytix needs to know which GA4 property and data stream to pull data from.
Select your GA4 Property
- Go to Analytix → Settings and click the Analytics Property tab.
- A dropdown will list all GA4 properties your Google account has access to.
- Select the property that belongs to your website.
- Click Save.
Only GA4 properties are supported. Universal Analytics (UA) properties are not compatible with Analytix.
Select your Data Stream
- After saving the property, the Data Stream tab becomes available.
- Select the web data stream associated with your domain.
- Click Save.
Verify the connection
Once both the property and stream are saved, navigate to Analytix → Dashboard. If data appears (sessions, users, page views) the connection is working correctly. New GA4 properties may show data only after 24–48 hours of data collection.
The selected property ID is stored in the WordPress option
agwp_analytix_dashboard_profile and the stream ID in agwp_analytix_stream.
