Role-Based Visibility — Hide Stats by User Role

Analytix lets you control which WordPress user roles can see the analytics dashboard and the per-post stats. This is useful on multi-author sites where you don't want editors or contributors accessing raw traffic data.

How to configure

  1. Go to Analytix → Settings.
  2. Scroll to the Hide Stats for Roles section.
  3. Check the roles you want to hide analytics from (e.g., Subscriber, Contributor, Author).
  4. Click Save.

What gets hidden

  • The full Analytix dashboard menu item.
  • The analytics meta box on the post/page editor screen.
  • The WordPress admin dashboard widget.
Administrators always retain access regardless of this setting.
