Revenue Cohort Analysis & Customer LTV
The Revenue Cohort Analysis groups customers by the month or week they first purchased, then tracks their cumulative revenue over time — showing you the lifetime value (LTV) of each acquisition cohort.
Reading the heatmap
- Each row is an acquisition cohort (e.g., customers who first purchased in January 2026).
- Each column is a subsequent period (Month 0 = first purchase month, Month 1 = next month, etc.).
- Cell colour intensity increases with higher LTV — darker = more revenue from that cohort at that period.
Key metrics
- Total Cohorts — Number of acquisition cohorts tracked.
- Average LTV — Average cumulative revenue per customer across all cohorts.
